American Skybridge refers to the network of aerial transportation routes that American Skyport is developing to link multimodal skyports across the country. Utilizing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, the Skybridge creates high-speed, low-emission corridors between urban and rural locations, enabling unprecedented access to critical services, economic opportunities, and healthcare.
As part of the core infrastructure and design process behind building skyports, American Skybridge ensures that each site is not only a launch and landing pad, but also a hub in a growing national aerial network. The design of each skyport is optimized to align with the Skybridge’s flight paths, safety requirements, charging infrastructure, and intermodal connections with ground transportation.
